ROCKER SHAFT BRACES (4) SET
This upgrade will fit all Buick iron heads with stock rocker shafts, not just the ones for the years listed.
These braces are made from heat-treated 4140 chromolly and are designed to reinforce the factory rocker shaft.
They attach to the end fasteners, and are very easy to install. They prevent the rocker shaft from breaking due to fatigue placed on them by the end rocker on the shafts.
The poor factory design creates fatigue in this area, which can eventually lead to having the rocker fail. All aftermarket roller rockers come with a similar part to prevent failure with their set ups.
If you upgrade your valve springs, we highly recommend you install these at the same time. This is a worthwhile investment on a stock engine to prevent problems later on.
