1986-1987 Turbo Regal - RJC AIRFLOW DISTRIBUTION POWER PLATE® for STOCK Plenum This is one MUST-have item for your 1986 or 1987 Turbo Regal. It ONLY works with the STOCK original upper plenum. This Power Plate® was developed by Loveridge Machine Co. and under went much testing and research. It maximizes and equalizes airflow to all six cylinders. Airflow distribution is within 10% of each cylinder. The results are nothing short of fantastic. On my personal Turbo-T test car, I would normally get about 5 to 5.2 degrees of knock retard at 16-17 psi. With no other changes than adding this Power Plate®, it has dropped the knock retard to just 1.5 to 2 at the most. It is almost as though the Scanmaster® is locked on double zeroes! You can definitely feel the difference in power instantly, even with normal acceleration. This is because the knock retard has been greatly reduced. There is no downside to this product. Because of its thin design, you use your original hardware. Even if you want to keep your car original, you can install this Power Plate® since it is virtually undetectable on the engine. These guys really did their homework. Each comes with two new GM upper plenum gaskets and easy-to-follow directions.
