Original 1986-1987 Turbo Regal belt tensioners can be worn out or broken, which can cause major charging problems.
This new reproduction belt tensioner uses better quality steel spring materials using today's technology. The original factory tension on the OEM tensioner is rated at 19.5 to 20. The spring tension on these test at 20.5.
This part has not been available from GM for many years.
This reproduction belt tensioner comes with a new pulley as shown.
