ANNUAL M&M CONTEST -
For new Inner Circle Members the M&M contest has been a long time standard contest we do several times a year during special Holidays. It reminds me of my youth when my Mom during special occasions would do a M&M contest for us 5 kids. I am the oldest and provided the most problems for my parents growing up! A tradition that I have done for many years for our Inner Circle Members to honor my Mom. Maybe something you want to do if you have any little ones. This year the container probably looks familiar to you as it is a brand new 1986-1987 Regal windshield washer bottle filled with M&Ms. I don’t know why I never thought of this idea earlier!

1984-1987 TURBO REGAL ALUMINUM FINNED TRANSMISSION PAN -
We now carry the TA Performance aluminum finned transmission pan. It holds two more quarts over the stock transmission pan plus has a drain plug on the bottom. A really nice upgrade!
PHOTO 4 - The top left photo shows this real nice aluminum finned transmission pan that we now offer Part #7963. The top right photo shows this customer's truck who was here the other week from New York. Rust is a major killer on trucks in New York! The rockers were also long gone as well!
The bottom left and bottom right photo is a cool product for the trailer hitch I had never seen before. Called the HiTow it clamps on the receiver and the hitch keeping both tight and no rattles. A slick idea and cheap. On Amazon I paid $13 for one to have. If you do a lot of trailering I highly recommend this. I remember back in the days I did a lot of trailering I was wearing the receiver hole oblong on my trucks! I wish I had known about this cool product then if it was available. I went through two 2500 HD GMC pickup trucks and 2 open Econo trailers when I trailered over 300 Turbo Regals.
IT IS NO SECRET PRINTED MAGAZINES ARE DISAPPEARING IN PRINT -
I guess I am mostly old school, I have 3 manual shift cars I drive, a flip phone, and I love sitting down in the late afternoon with a cup of coffee and a car magazine to read. It's even tough to find newspapers in some areas of the country. I remember as a teenager buying Car Craft and Hot Rod every month. Never realizing years later I would deal with Hurst and Isky Cams who used to run full page ads. A letter I wrote to the editor of Hot Rod magazine back around 1978 actually appeared in one issue of Hot Rod. I was making a point that the 1964 GTO was mostly responsible as being the Premiere Muscle car from that era. Some Ford owner credited Ford with creating the Muscle Car market. Hard to argue today that indeed the GTO was the leader. The early GTOs notably the tri-power ram air 4-speed examples started the revival of the muscle car. Later I discovered Hemmings Motor News which is where I posted my first classified ads to sell the GTOs and Mopars I was buying in the late 1970s.
Hemmings Motor News printed mostly on cheap paper has remained a steadfast must have magazine. It appears to not be affected by the internet. It still runs over 350 pages each month! Two other publications from Hemmings are Hemmings Muscle Machines and Hemmings Classic Cars. Both top notch magazines and well written. I subscribe to all three from Hemmings and also Hot Rod magazine. Years ago Hemmings Muscle Cars sent a writer out to our old Sugarbottom Road address and we sat out back and he did an article on me about the growing popularity of the Turbo Regal notably the Grand National. Might say back then it was the “tip of the Iceberg” compared to the values today these cars bring. Back then 20 grand would get you a really nice original low mileage example from me.
These magazines need your support. Granted, the internet is a great source for information, but there's something to be said about sitting down with a cup of coffee and reading a good article in a car magazine. In Vietnam I was the editor for the 17th Aviation Group. I did it all by taking photos for the newspaper and writing the articles. It was a small way to keep the spirits up in the troops connected to the 17th Aviation Group. Not realizing at age 18 I would later do a GTO newsletter and then a Turbo Regal Newsletter which led to the weekly Inner Circle that you now are reading. You can probably tell English was not my strong suit in school!
LACKING THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT -
I read in a recent newspaper in Florida a homeowner has been threatened with a hefty fine up to $1,000. The crime? Hanging Christmas lights too early! Seems a few neighbors who obviously lack the Christmas spirit griped about his decorations. He only put them up November 6th! It wasn’t like he put them up in the middle of summer! Reminds me of a joke my Dad would tell audiences when he would speak.
The people in East Germany took a truck load of trash and garbage and dumped it on the West Germany side of the wall. The people of West Germany could have easily done the same thing but instead took fresh vegetables and meats and stacked them neatly on the East German side of the wall. With a note that read “Each gives what they have!”
Note: Years ago Germany was divided by a wall for you young readers that may not remember that bit of history.

These are in stock now for immediate delivery. A great winter project to remove and install the new mast. Note be sure to save your original mast as the new AC Delco masts do not come with the screw up tip at the top. You need to switch over your tip from your busted mast to this new AC Delco mast. No idea why AC Delco sold them minus the 5 cent tip! Again these are original GM AC Delco masts that we bought that are being modified. Part number #7433 the price is $99.95. BREAKING NEWS 1987 GRAND NATIONAL HARDTOP FOR SALE -
Car is located near Chicago. It is a hardtop with a mere 26,000 miles on it. Two owners. Car was taken down to bare metal and repainted 8 years ago. Car was always kept in the garage. Paint does have some flaws. Paint is cracking on the header panel. Overall nice exterior with all new weathersripping and seals. Concert sound II car with factory radio. No cracks in the dash or console. No tears or fading in the seats.
Under the hood is a built factory block with stock crank, rods, forged pistons and a comp camshaft. Everything is well documented. Engine was built by Gary Oswald of Street Performance, a well known performance shop from years ago. Car has only gone about 1,000 miles since the work was done. Maintains factory heat and AC. The entire car is rust free. Rides on reproduction GNX style wheels with new tires. Perfect turn key, enjoyable show and street car. Asking price is $38,500. Clean title and carfax. URGENT REQUEST -
We badly need the original not cracked 1986-1987 Turbo Regal AC Delco mass air flow sensors. Each core is worth a $40 letter of credit. Remember every core we get no matter what part it is we sometimes get ones that can’t be rebuilt. It's unfortunate, but true. It happens frequently with turbo cores especially. Also we need powermaster brake units and original 1986-1987 Turbos. We need cores to get rebuilt to help others maintain their cars. If the situation gets much worse it will force us to raise the price of cores as some customers are not returning them to get their core deposit back.

CORES NEEDED - URGENT REQUEST –
Here is the information on our credits for cores.
STEERING WHEEL CORES. Currently we need good 1986-1987 Turbo Regal steering cores. They must be straight and not have rusted spokes. We will issue a Letter of Credit of $100 for each acceptable core. You must email me [email protected] a photo first to make sure the steering wheel is acceptable.
POWERMASTER BRAKE UNITS. Currently, we are accepting powermaster brake units. We give a $150 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. Or, we will pay $125 cash for each powermaster core. To avoid having your core not accepted, you MUST first email me a photo of the core you plan to send in - [email protected] - We will NOT accept any cores that have severe rust issues or have been disassembled. Core must have the brake switch and brake bowl reservoir. Too many of the cores we have been getting are in such terrible shape they are worthless to us.
TURBO CORES must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal stock turbo. They must be complete. We will issue you a $175 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. We need cores now. Or we will pay $150 cash for each complete stock turbo core.
BRAKE PEDALS we issue a letter of credit for $50 for each powermaster brake pedal or we will pay $40 cash for each pedal.
MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal sensors. They can not be cracked or broken. Each acceptable unit is worth a letter of credit of $40 each. We need cores now!

Good news - We now accept Classified Ads in our weekly Inner Circle emails. Over the years several customers have asked about placing an ad in our weekly Inner Circle.
Here are the options and the costs.
Ads can be from any individual or company. It needs to be automotive related, meaning it does not need to be specifically Turbo Regal related. It can be for something for sale or something wanted.
Maximum number of words is 125 words, which is about 7 to 9 lines of copy. No photos. You can list a website. We recommend you state your name, phone number or email, a price, and your location in your ad.
The cost for 2 consecutive weeks is $25. The cost for 4 consecutive weeks is $40. You save $10 with the 4-week plan. No changes can be made to your existing running ad. You can only run one ad at any given time. We will have a code system at the end of your ad, so we will know what week number your ad is to run 2 or 4 weeks.
It can be an ad for something for sale or an ad for something you are looking for.
We have never missed a single week since we started the Inner Circle email format in 2009. It’s something I enjoy doing and I just always seem to have enough material to write about.
Our weekly Inner Circle reaches over 3,500 members every Wednesday direct to their inbox. The Inner Circle also appears every Wednesday on our website with the related photos. Your ad would be visible to both groups of readers. So, the exposure to your ad is well over 3,400 potential buyers.

1984-1987 Buick Turbo Regal -

1983-1987 Buick Turbo Regal & 1978-1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass-
REPRODUCTION UPGRADED FLOOR SHIFTER & HANDLE
We offer this new upgraded floor shifter with or without a NOS GM grey shifter handle.
NOTE - You will need to transfer your original parts to the new handle.
This new upgraded floor shifter has several improvements over the factory original shifter. The original shifter had a steel chrome-plated handle. This was prone to rust. Also the grove at the top where the handle locks in is subject to breaking, which causes the handle to not stay in the correct position.
The new handle is stainless steel so it will not rust and it is stronger than the original steel handle. Where the shifter cable attaches to the factory pin can wear over a period of time. This pin on the new shifter is stainless and welded into place to eliminate those issues.
Buick never painted the base plate or the driveshaft. Most are now rusted. The new plate is painted. The spring for the J hook can also rust and lose tension over time. The new spring has upgraded tension for cleaner, firmer shifts. The original J rod bends over time and will not always return into alignment of the detent bracket. This was solved by increased hardened steel. The detent bracket is also subject to wear issues. The new detent bracket is made in stainless steel to avoid those issues.
All these improvements make for a nice upgrade that you will quickly notice each time you shift from Park to Drive.
Another excellent replacement for any interior restoration.

Over time, an original under hood (insulator liner) pad can deteriorate or rodents may have eaten holes in the material.

1986-1987 Buick GRAND NATIONAL -
REPRODUCTION GRAND NATIONAL15" x 7" WHEEL SETS
Because of many requests, we now offer reproduction Grand National wheels.
This high-quality reproduction of the popular chrome steel 15" by 7" Grand National wheel has been well received since it was first introduced a few years ago. Due to the high costs involved in getting original steel wheels re-chromed, it has made this reproduction Grand National wheel in aluminum extremely popular among Grand National owners. In order to re-chrome the original steel Grand National wheels, it requires the wheels to be cut apart so the center is separated from the outer rim.
These reproduction wheels have the same back spacing as the original wheels, 3.75". The entire wheel is fully powder coated. This was done for corrosion protection. The front of the wheel is done in the correct black powder coating. This will not flake off. The center caps with these wheels have the correct looking “Turbo 6” logo in the matching original colors. To make the caps stay in place on the wheel a snap ring is used on the back side of the cap.
The opening for the center cap is 3". You can install a T-Type center cap or a GNX-style center cap if you desire to achieve a different look. The inside lip that appears on the front of the steel wheels, which usually collected dirt and eventually rust, was eliminated. Water would generally get trapped in that area of the wheel.
Aluminum wheels have several advantages over the steel chrome wheels. The major advantage is the weight savings. Also, no more issues with rust. The typical steel Grand National wheel with center cap weighs 28.36 lbs. This reproduction aluminum 15" by 7" Grand National wheel with center cap only weighs 17.76 lbs. When you multiple by 4, you can see the tremendous weight savings over the steel chrome Grand National wheels.
All wheels are tested and speed rated. Each set comes complete with center caps, lug nuts, and valve stems.

Reproduction FIBERGLASS FRONT & REAR BUMPERS
For the serious racer who wants every available advantage. These are made from the same bumper molds we used to sell over 35 years ago. My son did the prep work using the original bumpers on my 1987 Grand National.
These are for the serious racer and not designed for street use since they offer very little protection in case of an accident.
Both bumpers are done in black gelcoat and can be sanded and painted. The factory marker lights and bezels will fit the openings in the front bumper. Both molds were fully prepped and eliminated the rubber cushion completely. Both bumpers have a smooth front since the rubber cushion was completely eliminated. Both bumpers have fiberglass brackets on the back side that are slotted for adjustments to attach just like the original bumpers.
The fiberglass front bumper weighs just 8 pounds. The stock steel bumper with the reinforcement brace can weigh as much as 45 pounds depending on whether the reinforcement brace is steel or aluminum. You save 37 pounds.
The fiberglass rear bumper weighs less than 10 pounds. The stock steel rear bumper weighs as much as 45 pounds depending on whether it has a steel or aluminum reinforcement brace. You can shed as much as 35 pounds with this fiberglass rear bumper.

I had a local muffler shop duplicate these factory tailpipes off the original set shown above. The person who made them for me actually owns a 1986 Grand National. While he did not have a pattern to go by these as the pictures show are fairly accurate. He kept a set to make others. The critical part is the angle cut of the tailpipe exit point. You would have to cut off from your original tail pipes the hanger bracket or make some sort of hanger. The price for this copy of the original is $149.95 plus shipping. Estimated shipping cost is $22. These are aluminized. Remember neither company currently making the reproduction exact dual exhaust system will sell any of the parts individually. P-4192 - I just got in 3 more sets of these 5 bushing GNX ladder bushing kits. These fit the original GNX ladder bar and the reproduction GNX ladder bar. This 5-piece bushing kit is very difficult to find. The kit requires three different part numbers from two different companies! The price is $95 a kit including shipping to the basic 48 states. I have 3 sets available. Extremely difficult to get.

P-4229 - I have just 1 set left of the 4 headlight rings that I had done in glossy black powder coated. The crowning touch for any Grand National or Turbo T-Type with the black out option as Buick never offered them in glossy black. This completes the black look. P-4265 - See Photo 4 in a previous issue. Both booklets are spiral bound 5 ½ by 8 ½ booklets. The first booklet is entitled 1984-1987 Buick Regal Price Directory and GM Production Options runs 70 pages. It covers every 1984-1987 Buick Regal model, each option for each year with the price of each option, the code for each option and cost of the basic Regal. The second portion of this handy spiral bound booklet covers 90% of the SPI trunk ID codes and also for each year 1984-1987 breaks down the entire 17 digit VIN number. In other words this booklet can document your car and how it was equipped!
The second 5 ½ by 8 ½ spiral bound booklet runs 40 pages entitled GNX Project From Proposal to Production and includes a copy of virtually every letter between Buick and ASC back to July 1986 on the history of the GNX project. Also Molly letters, also Molly letters about the free jacket and GNX book, performance specs, test results between the various test vehicles. (Buick had 3 GNX test vehicles). Also the warranty information. I also include a copy of the actual ad of the first GNX I sold for $13,500. This was back in the spring of 2001. (Car sold in one week!)

P-4326 - I have 5 of these kits. They include a NOS GM original radiator overflow bottle cap. Remember the reproduction type style is NOT the same. Also in this kit 2 NOS wastegate foam filters, 1 used shifter handle clip, 1 wastegate used C clip, and 5 used dash bezel clips that are very hard to find! I can do 5 of these kits. For new Inner Circle Members the M&M contest has been a long time standard contest we do several times a year during special Holidays. It reminds me of my youth when my Mom during special occasions would do a M&M contest for us 5 kids. I am the oldest and provided the most problems for my parents growing up! A tradition that I have done for many years for our Inner Circle Members to honor my Mom. Maybe something you want to do if you have any little ones. This year the container probably looks familiar to you as it is a brand new 1986-1987 Regal windshield washer bottle filled with M&Ms. I don’t know why I never thought of this idea earlier!

1984-1987 TURBO REGAL ALUMINUM FINNED TRANSMISSION PAN -
We now carry the TA Performance aluminum finned transmission pan. It holds two more quarts over the stock transmission pan plus has a drain plug on the bottom. A really nice upgrade!

The bottom left and bottom right photo is a cool product for the trailer hitch I had never seen before. Called the HiTow it clamps on the receiver and the hitch keeping both tight and no rattles. A slick idea and cheap. On Amazon I paid $13 for one to have. If you do a lot of trailering I highly recommend this. I remember back in the days I did a lot of trailering I was wearing the receiver hole oblong on my trucks! I wish I had known about this cool product then if it was available. I went through two 2500 HD GMC pickup trucks and 2 open Econo trailers when I trailered over 300 Turbo Regals.
IT IS NO SECRET PRINTED MAGAZINES ARE DISAPPEARING IN PRINT -
I guess I am mostly old school, I have 3 manual shift cars I drive, a flip phone, and I love sitting down in the late afternoon with a cup of coffee and a car magazine to read. It's even tough to find newspapers in some areas of the country. I remember as a teenager buying Car Craft and Hot Rod every month. Never realizing years later I would deal with Hurst and Isky Cams who used to run full page ads. A letter I wrote to the editor of Hot Rod magazine back around 1978 actually appeared in one issue of Hot Rod. I was making a point that the 1964 GTO was mostly responsible as being the Premiere Muscle car from that era. Some Ford owner credited Ford with creating the Muscle Car market. Hard to argue today that indeed the GTO was the leader. The early GTOs notably the tri-power ram air 4-speed examples started the revival of the muscle car. Later I discovered Hemmings Motor News which is where I posted my first classified ads to sell the GTOs and Mopars I was buying in the late 1970s.
Hemmings Motor News printed mostly on cheap paper has remained a steadfast must have magazine. It appears to not be affected by the internet. It still runs over 350 pages each month! Two other publications from Hemmings are Hemmings Muscle Machines and Hemmings Classic Cars. Both top notch magazines and well written. I subscribe to all three from Hemmings and also Hot Rod magazine. Years ago Hemmings Muscle Cars sent a writer out to our old Sugarbottom Road address and we sat out back and he did an article on me about the growing popularity of the Turbo Regal notably the Grand National. Might say back then it was the “tip of the Iceberg” compared to the values today these cars bring. Back then 20 grand would get you a really nice original low mileage example from me.
These magazines need your support. Granted, the internet is a great source for information, but there's something to be said about sitting down with a cup of coffee and reading a good article in a car magazine. In Vietnam I was the editor for the 17th Aviation Group. I did it all by taking photos for the newspaper and writing the articles. It was a small way to keep the spirits up in the troops connected to the 17th Aviation Group. Not realizing at age 18 I would later do a GTO newsletter and then a Turbo Regal Newsletter which led to the weekly Inner Circle that you now are reading. You can probably tell English was not my strong suit in school!
LACKING THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT -
I read in a recent newspaper in Florida a homeowner has been threatened with a hefty fine up to $1,000. The crime? Hanging Christmas lights too early! Seems a few neighbors who obviously lack the Christmas spirit griped about his decorations. He only put them up November 6th! It wasn’t like he put them up in the middle of summer! Reminds me of a joke my Dad would tell audiences when he would speak.
The people in East Germany took a truck load of trash and garbage and dumped it on the West Germany side of the wall. The people of West Germany could have easily done the same thing but instead took fresh vegetables and meats and stacked them neatly on the East German side of the wall. With a note that read “Each gives what they have!”
Note: Years ago Germany was divided by a wall for you young readers that may not remember that bit of history.

BREAKING NEWS 1987 GRAND NATIONAL HARDTOP FOR SALE -
Car is located near Chicago. It is a hardtop with a mere 26,000 miles on it. Two owners. Car was taken down to bare metal and repainted 8 years ago. Car was always kept in the garage. Paint does have some flaws. Paint is cracking on the header panel. Overall nice exterior with all new weathersripping and seals. Concert sound II car with factory radio. No cracks in the dash or console. No tears or fading in the seats.
Under the hood is a built factory block with stock crank, rods, forged pistons and a comp camshaft. Everything is well documented. Engine was built by Gary Oswald of Street Performance, a well known performance shop from years ago. Car has only gone about 1,000 miles since the work was done. Maintains factory heat and AC. URGENT REQUEST -
We badly need the original not cracked 1986-1987 Turbo Regal AC Delco mass air flow sensors. Each core is worth a $40 letter of credit. Remember every core we get no matter what part it is we sometimes get ones that can’t be rebuilt. It's unfortunate, but true. It happens frequently with turbo cores especially. Also we need powermaster brake units and original 1986-1987 Turbos. We need cores to get rebuilt to help others maintain their cars. If the situation gets much worse it will force us to raise the price of cores as some customers are not returning them to get their core deposit back.

Here is the information on our credits for cores.
STEERING WHEEL CORES. Currently we need good 1986-1987 Turbo Regal steering cores. They must be straight and not have rusted spokes. We will issue a Letter of Credit of $100 for each acceptable core. You must email me [email protected] a photo first to make sure the steering wheel is acceptable.
POWERMASTER BRAKE UNITS. Currently, we are accepting powermaster brake units. We give a $150 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. Or, we will pay $125 cash for each powermaster core. To avoid having your core not accepted, you MUST first email me a photo of the core you plan to send in - [email protected] - We will NOT accept any cores that have severe rust issues or have been disassembled. Core must have the brake switch and brake bowl reservoir. Too many of the cores we have been getting are in such terrible shape they are worthless to us.
TURBO CORES must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal stock turbo. They must be complete. We will issue you a $175 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. We need cores now. Or we will pay $150 cash for each complete stock turbo core.
BRAKE PEDALS we issue a letter of credit for $50 for each powermaster brake pedal or we will pay $40 cash for each pedal.
MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal sensors. They can not be cracked or broken. Each acceptable unit is worth a letter of credit of $40 each. We need cores now!

Maximum number of words is 125 words, which is about 7 to 9 lines of copy. No photos. You can list a website. We recommend you state your name, phone number or email, a price, and your location in your ad.
The cost for 2 consecutive weeks is $25. The cost for 4 consecutive weeks is $40. You save $10 with the 4-week plan. No changes can be made to your existing running ad. You can only run one ad at any given time. We will have a code system at the end of your ad, so we will know what week number your ad is to run 2 or 4 weeks.
It can be an ad for something for sale or an ad for something you are looking for.
We have never missed a single week since we started the Inner Circle email format in 2009. It’s something I enjoy doing and I just always seem to have enough material to write about.

1983-1987 Buick Turbo Regal & 1978-1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass-
REPRODUCTION UPGRADED FLOOR SHIFTER & HANDLE
We offer this new upgraded floor shifter with or without a NOS GM grey shifter handle.
NOTE - You will need to transfer your original parts to the new handle.
This new upgraded floor shifter has several improvements over the factory original shifter. The original shifter had a steel chrome-plated handle. This was prone to rust. Also the grove at the top where the handle locks in is subject to breaking, which causes the handle to not stay in the correct position.
The new handle is stainless steel so it will not rust and it is stronger than the original steel handle. Where the shifter cable attaches to the factory pin can wear over a period of time. This pin on the new shifter is stainless and welded into place to eliminate those issues.
Buick never painted the base plate or the driveshaft. Most are now rusted. The new plate is painted. The spring for the J hook can also rust and lose tension over time. The new spring has upgraded tension for cleaner, firmer shifts. The original J rod bends over time and will not always return into alignment of the detent bracket. This was solved by increased hardened steel. The detent bracket is also subject to wear issues. The new detent bracket is made in stainless steel to avoid those issues.
All these improvements make for a nice upgrade that you will quickly notice each time you shift from Park to Drive.
Another excellent replacement for any interior restoration.

1986-1987 Buick GRAND NATIONAL -
REPRODUCTION GRAND NATIONAL15" x 7" WHEEL SETS
Because of many requests, we now offer reproduction Grand National wheels.
This high-quality reproduction of the popular chrome steel 15" by 7" Grand National wheel has been well received since it was first introduced a few years ago. Due to the high costs involved in getting original steel wheels re-chromed, it has made this reproduction Grand National wheel in aluminum extremely popular among Grand National owners. In order to re-chrome the original steel Grand National wheels, it requires the wheels to be cut apart so the center is separated from the outer rim.
These reproduction wheels have the same back spacing as the original wheels, 3.75". The entire wheel is fully powder coated. This was done for corrosion protection. The front of the wheel is done in the correct black powder coating. This will not flake off. The center caps with these wheels have the correct looking “Turbo 6” logo in the matching original colors. To make the caps stay in place on the wheel a snap ring is used on the back side of the cap.
The opening for the center cap is 3". You can install a T-Type center cap or a GNX-style center cap if you desire to achieve a different look. The inside lip that appears on the front of the steel wheels, which usually collected dirt and eventually rust, was eliminated. Water would generally get trapped in that area of the wheel.
Aluminum wheels have several advantages over the steel chrome wheels. The major advantage is the weight savings. Also, no more issues with rust. The typical steel Grand National wheel with center cap weighs 28.36 lbs. This reproduction aluminum 15" by 7" Grand National wheel with center cap only weighs 17.76 lbs. When you multiple by 4, you can see the tremendous weight savings over the steel chrome Grand National wheels.
All wheels are tested and speed rated. Each set comes complete with center caps, lug nuts, and valve stems.

Reproduction FIBERGLASS FRONT & REAR BUMPERS
For the serious racer who wants every available advantage. These are made from the same bumper molds we used to sell over 35 years ago. My son did the prep work using the original bumpers on my 1987 Grand National.
These are for the serious racer and not designed for street use since they offer very little protection in case of an accident.
Both bumpers are done in black gelcoat and can be sanded and painted. The factory marker lights and bezels will fit the openings in the front bumper. Both molds were fully prepped and eliminated the rubber cushion completely. Both bumpers have a smooth front since the rubber cushion was completely eliminated. Both bumpers have fiberglass brackets on the back side that are slotted for adjustments to attach just like the original bumpers.
The fiberglass front bumper weighs just 8 pounds. The stock steel bumper with the reinforcement brace can weigh as much as 45 pounds depending on whether the reinforcement brace is steel or aluminum. You save 37 pounds.
The fiberglass rear bumper weighs less than 10 pounds. The stock steel rear bumper weighs as much as 45 pounds depending on whether it has a steel or aluminum reinforcement brace. You can shed as much as 35 pounds with this fiberglass rear bumper.

I had a local muffler shop duplicate these factory tailpipes off the original set shown above. The person who made them for me actually owns a 1986 Grand National. While he did not have a pattern to go by these as the pictures show are fairly accurate. He kept a set to make others. The critical part is the angle cut of the tailpipe exit point. You would have to cut off from your original tail pipes the hanger bracket or make some sort of hanger. The price for this copy of the original is $149.95 plus shipping. Estimated shipping cost is $22. These are aluminized. Remember neither company currently making the reproduction exact dual exhaust system will sell any of the parts individually. P-4192 - I just got in 3 more sets of these 5 bushing GNX ladder bushing kits. These fit the original GNX ladder bar and the reproduction GNX ladder bar. This 5-piece bushing kit is very difficult to find. The kit requires three different part numbers from two different companies! The price is $95 a kit including shipping to the basic 48 states. I have 3 sets available. Extremely difficult to get.

P-4229 - I have just 1 set left of the 4 headlight rings that I had done in glossy black powder coated. The crowning touch for any Grand National or Turbo T-Type with the black out option as Buick never offered them in glossy black. This completes the black look. P-4265 - See Photo 4 in a previous issue. Both booklets are spiral bound 5 ½ by 8 ½ booklets. The first booklet is entitled 1984-1987 Buick Regal Price Directory and GM Production Options runs 70 pages. It covers every 1984-1987 Buick Regal model, each option for each year with the price of each option, the code for each option and cost of the basic Regal. The second portion of this handy spiral bound booklet covers 90% of the SPI trunk ID codes and also for each year 1984-1987 breaks down the entire 17 digit VIN number. In other words this booklet can document your car and how it was equipped!
The second 5 ½ by 8 ½ spiral bound booklet runs 40 pages entitled GNX Project From Proposal to Production and includes a copy of virtually every letter between Buick and ASC back to July 1986 on the history of the GNX project. Also Molly letters, also Molly letters about the free jacket and GNX book, performance specs, test results between the various test vehicles. (Buick had 3 GNX test vehicles). Also the warranty information. I also include a copy of the actual ad of the first GNX I sold for $13,500. This was back in the spring of 2001. (Car sold in one week!)

P-4279 - Similar to P-4278 NOS GM original radiator overflow cap, two NOS wastegate foam filters, and both P-4265 booklets. All for just $72.95.
Remember the reproduction radiator overflow cap the font is not a match to the original font style which ones we sell are original. Also the foam filters for the wastegate solenoid are no longer available from GM!

P-4326 - I have 5 of these kits. They include a NOS GM original radiator overflow bottle cap. Remember the reproduction type style is NOT the same. Also in this kit 2 NOS wastegate foam filters, 1 used shifter handle clip, 1 wastegate used C clip, and 5 used dash bezel clips that are very hard to find! I can do 5 of these kits. The price per kit as described is $32.95. Price includes UPS. However, buy anything else under rare parts and pay just $25 for this kit. Saves shipping costs that way.
