Greetings Turbo Regal Inner Circle Members 11-02-2022 -  ANNUAL HALLOWEEN M & M CONTEST WINNER - We have a winner. The actual M&M count was 1,250. The closest count to that actual number was submitted by Rick Mukalian with his count of 1184. We had several that were close above and below the actual count. His brother, also a Turbo Regal owner, submitted a guess for the M&M count. His guess was second best at 1179! Neither had talked to each other beforehand about their guesses! Rick also won a previous M&M contest over the years as well. He has been a customer of ours since 1990! I told Rick he oughta play the state lottery! We had a few guesses of two thousand or more! In the future you need to remember I can’t be counting several thousand M&Ms for a contest! Congrats go out to Rick. I know from his name he is a long time customer of ours. We are sending his prizes this week. The new artwork featuring on a vinyl banner the three most popular 1987 Turbo Regal models WE4-Grand National-GNX are having done will follow in about ten days. The artist has to do a few more minor tweaks to the phrase we want centered under the actual artwork. It is really looking good with a nice pattern for the background so it is not on a plain white background. I will be personally autographing the back of each of these new banners as well. Again congrats and I tip my black hat to Rick on his winning guess to the actual count as to the number of M&Ms in the container. I am sure we will have another M&M contest for Christmas and probably Thanksgiving as well. BREAKING NEWS 1987 GRAND NATIONAL HARDTOP FOR SALE - I just got word another customer of ours who has owned this extremely nice 1987 Grand National since 2011 is needing to sell his pride and joy due to health issues. He has all the records back to 2003. Car has been extremely well cared for with many of the up grades we recommend and sell to maintain the car. Car is well optioned as well. Car has all the original paint. One previous owner did the AVC dash upgrade which we used to sell in the early 1990s which features all VDO gauges. Owner just installed all new TA radial tires about two weeks ago. Car is located in PA. The owner is asking $46,900. Car has a clean carfax and miles is about 62,000. It may not yet be on our website, but it is in stock and the price is $19.95. It also has all the various paint codes Buick used in 1987 and what paint company made them. Also the letter from Buick listing all the US and Canada sales for 1984-1987 Turbo Regals. A lot of good information that I obtained back in the late 1980s of original Buick information. Most of which would be next to impossible to find today. Also a copy of the original announcement of Buick introducing the new WE4 dated 11-15-86. If you own a WE4 you can check the date of your car to determine how close to the start of production your WE4 is.. What I had forgotten was that the WE4 did not come with a rear spoiler. We had to make that correction with the artist doing the new artwork for us! PHOTO 1 - We show the cover and several pages from this latest information booklet we just did. The smart move is to buy several of these informative booklets at the same time since shipping would virtually be the same due to their size and lightweight! 1986-1987 TURBO REGAL CUSTOM MADE POLISHED STAINLESS STOCK TURBO SHIELD - We just now located a source for the proper polished hardware to go with this new polished stainless shield. The part number is #8047. The price is $429.95 and will come with new polished hardware. At this writing it may not yet be on our website. This new polished stainless cover has a similar appearance to the GNX with the slots for cooling. We expect to have more information and a photo in next week's Inner Circle. 1965 BUICK RIVIERA FOR SALE - Long time readers will remember the over 300 Turbo Regals we sold under O'Neil Buick dealership as a salesperson for them. Only the cars we sold never sat at the dealership! I was down at Mike's O'Neil Buick/GMC dealership the other day and he has this gorgeous 1965 Riviera for sale. The small metal dealer name plate on the back trunk lid shows it was actually sold new in 1965 from his Dad's Buick dealership in New Jersey. The owner contacted Mike thinking he may want to buy it since it was sold originally by his Dad. This 1965 Riviera has been properly cared for and garaged since new. It is very well optioned and has many of the Buick optional accessories included like the trunk mat, reverb for the radio, trunk mounted fire extinguisher to name a few items. The car is show quality as it sits. The actual miles is just under 89,000 miles. Any paint work that was done is very minor touch up. The interior is mint. Pinstripe is all hand painted. The asking price is $49,990. Being they are a Buick/GMC dealership a possible partial trade can also be arranged. PHOTO 2 - We show four different views of this 1965 Riviera survivor that has a unique history being it was sold new by Mike's father who had a Buick Dealership in New Jersey in the 1960s. Email me for more photos and I can provide you with the used car manager who is Mike's son. 1998 JAGUAR XJ8L SEDAN FOR SALE - This Jaguar sedan is in remarkably good condition. All the paint is original except the hood and trunk lid have both been resprayed the factory British green due to cobwebbing from age. Interior is tan leather and mint. The transmission was totally rebuilt at the cost of $3200. . The suspension has been under coated as needed so it is rust proofed. The actual miles is just under 70,000 original miles. It is a two owner car with all the manuals in the glove box. The seller is seeking $5950 which seems to be a very fair price as the receipts for the rebuilt transmission and the rust protection to the frame and rear cross member was over six grand alone. Also the antenna was repaired. The Jaguar has the latest PA inspection. It is located about 12 miles from our house. PHOTO 3 - We show 4 views of this extremely nice original Jaguar XJ8L. Having limited knowledge of Jaguars I do not know if this is the top of the line model for the sedan that year or not. Seller doesn't have the window sticker. A lot of car for the money. Being they are NOS in the original boxes the prices are firm. NOS items for anything 35 plus years and older value does not drop if condition is like new. It is getting tougher and tougher for me to make deals on NOS parts. Adding to the problem is the lack of Buick events that feature vendors selling parts. The bottom right although not brand new they are both like new with no pits or visual corrosion the spring loaded T hood emblem ornament with nothing busted.
