BREAKING NEWS -
As many readers are aware, Castle Performance 2nd Annual Open House is a 2-day event this coming Friday and Saturday October 1st and 2nd. The address is 9000 Ogden Avenue, Brookfield, Illinois.
This coming Friday is a meet and greet day.
Saturday is the car show starting at 3 pm.
Doors open both days at 9 am. Free food and drinks both days! A special discount will be in effect both days on in stock items.
A huge raffle of donated items will be conducted Saturday. Each car show entry gets one free raffle ticket. Donate any sum of money and you will get an arm's length of additional chances to win! As of a week ago, they already had over 50 raffle items! All raffle money will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
I will be one of the guest speakers. My seminar is scheduled to start at 11 am Saturday morning. Also my granddaughter Devyn is coming with me to this event. She's a recent graduate of Penn State in engineering. Her job allows her to work virtually, not a term I ever got to use at my various jobs back in the day!
Paul's shop is located at 9000 Ogden Avenue, Brookfield, Illinois. It's on the historic Route 66 that I first traveled back in November of 1963 on my unscheduled trip! The weekly Inner Circle will still go out at its normal time this Wednesday.
Eileen has made a total of 7 custom Car Show awards that Castle Performance and Kirban Performance will be awarding. Also, we will have our M&Ms contest. The M&Ms contest is a long-time sentimental thing I do at various events in honor of what my parents did for us 5 kids usually at Christmas.
You don't want to miss my seminar. The weather should be nice due to early reports.
We will have a small array of used parts for sale. We will be accepting powermaster cores, stock turbo cores, mass air flow sensor cores. Be sure to bring them as it saves you shipping and I can take the parts back with me.
Also, any parts you want to sell, we are a buyer - NOS or used.
The Open House is open to any old or new muscle car. There’s plenty of parking as Paul has permission to use the bank parking lot across the street from his shop. I have not traveled much in the last several years, so I hope to see many of our midwest customers at this event this coming weekend!
The photos show the custom-made awards. These are similar to the awards she made for the Magna event last month.
We may even have a special guest drop in if he can find the time. He’s a long-long- time personal friend who makes several parts that I am sure are on many of the Turbo Regals.

Spoolfool Productions Annual Open House is this Saturday at 1794 Monrovia Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92627. This is a swap meet and taco extravaganza.
Time to clean out your garage of old Turbo Buick parts. This is not a car show. Yet they had over a dozen TBs last year. This is to buy, sell, or trade used stuff without having to pay for shipping.
Load up your Buick or truck with stuff and enjoy the day. Ralph and crew will be making their amazing tacos. Please show your support by filling their tip jar to the top.
He will have special prices on slightly damaged fillers for cash in hand.
The Huntington Beach air show will be going on at the same time. There should be lots to see overhead.
