come to my house last week who I have not seen in probably 8 years or longer. He owned a speed shop years ago. Speed shops went the way video stores went! I had no idea he still had his Grand National along with a super rare HemiGTX. It’s funny, well maybe not funny but during our initial conversation he would ask about certain people that I knew and I would say which ones had passed away. He did likewise. One person in particular I asked aboutas I knew heknew him was Dick Walker who long time customers may recall was the stranger I approached in a restaurant back in late 1987 as I spotted a real GNX in a restaurant parking lot.He simply gave me the keys to take it for a drive without having any knowledge as to who I was. Adding to the risk was it was raining and prior to this I had never driven a real GNX! My buddy said he passed away about 2 years earlier. 

I remember that chance encounter like it happened yesterday. He even brought his GNX to one of the shows we had at the Johnsville Air Base in the early 1990s. At least he enjoyed his GNX rather than watch it collect dust. STILL SEEKING A STARVING ARTIST THAT CAN DO DETAILED CAR ART - I am still seeking a struggling automotive artist that can do detailed car art. VACUUM BRAKE KITS #7625 & #7679 - Currently we should have all the parts. The hardest part is getting the vacuum brake pedal. If you have any pedals whether it's for the turbo format or vacuum we are a buyer. We get the turbo one rewelded with the correct diameter pin and in the correct spot for the vacuum format. I think currently we are the only company that offers the vacuum kit with the vacuum brake pedal. We also sell the vacuum brake kit with the correct size pin instead of the complete pedal and specs so you can have the proper pin welded to your Turbo Regal pedal and cut off the Turbo Regal pin off the original pedal. LOCAL TO ME A MINT ORIGINAL 1990 FORD F-350 DIESEL TRUCK FOR SALE - This truck just popped up for sale near our house. Truck has an extended cab. Actual miles is just 69,000. Black exterior which is mint not so much as a scratch or dent. Mirror like finished with zero dents! Garaged probably since new. No paint fade or clear coat issues. Truck has running boards and a bed liner. The owner suffered a strike recently and is 83 years young. The current seller bought it to resell. Truck is automatic. Has all original interior including the vinyl bench seat. (One small seam rip in the upright portion of the seat.) Tires are like new. Has the chrome wheel inserts. Front tires are age cracked from sitting but a new set goes with it. Dually with the factory bubble style rear fenders. AC needs to be switched to the newer freon. It blows just not cold. Powered by the 7.3 diesel. This is the XLT Lariat model. I assume it's the top of the line for that model in 1990. I have zero knowledge on Ford trucks. It does have a hitch on the back. Latest PA inspection. Body shows no rust at all. The paint is like a mirror finish.THe seller has it advertised for $19 grand. I talked to him and it can be bought for $16 grand. My finders fee to the buyer would be in addition to that. No PA sales tax if you are an out of state buyer simply transfer fee and transit tag would be required. The ones we represent in 99% of the cases are long time customers of ours. In most cases we are the only company advertising the cars for the seller. These are not cars that have been seen by other potential buyers and they turned down as not being worthy. In other words you're getting first shot at buying what we believe is the best example for the price we are asking. We are not selling perfection especially in the case of Turbo Regals that are now over 30 plus years old! But rather the best investment for the money. Each case we do allow some wiggle room on the price as we realize in most cases transporting and taxes is a necessary expense. We have great success with JJ Best on financing and also deal with a transport broker that is a customer of ours and owns a Grand National. He can get enclosed or open transports in a very quick turn around and a price that in many cases would be hard to beat. What I am saying is we cover all the angles for both the seller and the potential buyer. I know personally I would not want to travel several hundred miles to look at acar that maybe 6 other potential buyers looked at and did not buy for various reasons. I got a lot of experience at not only buying Turbo Regals but other unique performance cars and even regular cars. It’s something I enjoy doing. FALL CARLISLE - Closing out the swap meet season is the annual Fall Carlisle. I have not attended in the last several years, but plan to go this year as I stop and see my brother who resides in nearby Lancaster. You must email me [email protected] a photo first to make sure the steering wheel is acceptable. POWERMASTER BRAKE UNITS. Currently, we NOT accepting powermaster brake units. This is due to the fact we have a huge supply of cores and we have no exact time table when our supplier will get brake bowls. Everyone is in the same boat that rebuilds powermaster brake units. The key ingredient is the brake bowl. TURBO CORES must be the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal stock turbo. They must be complete. We will issue you a $150 Letter of Credit for each acceptable core. We need cores now. Or we will pay $135 cash for each complete stock turbo core. BRAKE PEDALS we issue a letter of credit for $50 for each powermaster brake pedal or we will pay $40 cash for each pedal. MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS we need original non cracked 1986-1987 Turbo Regal mass air sensors. We issue a $40 letter of credit for each unit. They are a gamble for us as some of these can’t be rebuilt.
