AUGUST CARTOON -

"The Adventures of Tommy Turbo" shows a lineup of cars for sale. This cartoon clearly shows how the values between a same vintage Mustang and Corvette stack up against a Grand National.

COMBING A CLASSIC VEHICLE WITH YOUR BUSINESS -

We saw an interesting vehicle at the Hatboro Moonlight Memories Cars shows last weekend. Locally to us is an unusual business called "Kogan Prosthetics." It specializes in custom artificial limbs, orthotic braces and foot orthotics.

PHOTO 2 - Shows Kogan Prosthetics mid-1950s Ford Panel truck that serves a dual purpose - It promotes their unique business and is a neat display at local cruises and car shows. The top photo shows the bright red Ford Panel truck. The bottom photo shows a close up of the side of the Ford panel truck. It is a far better attention getter than using a late-model panel truck and one that will hold its value better!

DOING OUR PART TO SAVE AN OLD PACKARD -

This cemetery junkyard we mentioned before has been virtually undisturbed for 25 years. It is in the process of being cleaned up. Fortunately, I am getting to see first hand some of the unearthed treasures that have been virtually buried in under growth for over 25-plus years.

One partial car that caught my eye was sitting on top of a 2-car carrier.

PHOTO 3 - The top left photo shows the two late-1940s cars on this two-car carrier that looks like it hasn’t moved in 25 years or more. I purchased the coupe that is up front on the car carrier. The top right photo shows the late 1940s Packard coupe once it was removed from the car carrier and placed on top of a pile of steel. Prior to having it delivered and positioned, I had it cut just ahead of where the doorpost would be.

The bottom left photo shows a side view of the Packard coupe as it now rests in one of our front shrubbery beds. The bottom right photo shows the back end of the car, which is visible as you come up our driveway. As you look at the photo, you can clearly see that even back then car companies used a series of cross braces behind the rear seat! This is similar to our rear seat brace kit we market for the Turbo Regals today! I been told this is a 1947 Packard coupe. This is kind of neat, since I was born in 1947.

While some home owners shop for big rocks for lawn ornaments. As a car guy, I think this makes more sense! I plan to see what other classic body panels can be saved for similar uses. If you're local, email me if you are interested in something unique for your property from this junkyard - [email protected]

PHOTO 4 - Here are a few photos to give you an idea how overgrown this automotive graveyard is. The top left photo shows two cars squeezed together. The top right photo shows what appears to be a Studebaker Lark Station wagon. The bottom left photo shows a 1984-1987 Regal, which we will be getting once it is removed from its resting place. The bottom right photo shows the touch climate control in a 1983 Regal Sports Coupe. Note the early-style am/fm radio. I did get the console out of this car. You couldn’t pay me enough money to stick my hand behind the dash to remove the radio or touch climate control display!

COMING VERY SOON UPGRADED HEADLIGHTS -

We almost have all the directions done for the special plug-and-play harness to upgrade the headlights in any G-Body car. Regardless of what kind of upgraded headlights you go with, it's very important to upgrade the stock headlight harness to handle the higher wattage bulbs.

The factory headlight system is quite primitive, as our cars represent the end of the old sealed beam headlight format. This new plug-and-play harness eliminates any possible issues with overload on the headlight switch. We will be offering just the plug-and-play harness, or the harness with a complete set of H4 glass headlights with new H4 60-watt bulbs already installed.

TANDEM AXLE AIRSTREAM TRAILER FOR SALE -

Located in the junkyard mentioned above is a TANDEM axle Airstream that needs total restoration. If I had to guess as to its length, I would say it’s a 20-24 foot long. The exterior is very straight, except at least one window is missing. You are not going to give this a quick exterior polish and head down the road! I know Airstreams are highly collectible in the RV world. Personally. I like the small single axle ones.

There is no title for this Airstream. Here is the ID number that is on a plate on the side door -F262F7 - and on the second line it reads “1268J506.” Perhaps from this you can tell the size and year. The asking price is $2500.

For more info, email me - [email protected] - I do have some exterior photos of the Airstream. It is located about 15 minutes from our shop. It would need wheels and tires to be moveable as the tires are flat.

NEW PRODUCTS FROM US -

1984-1987 Buick Regal - All T-Tops Models -
REPRODUCTION T-TOPS PARTS - 8-PIECE KIT

If you have any rust issues with the factory T-Tops, these are the critical parts.

This is the complete kit to replace all the removable parts related to the T-Tops framework. Everything is made in steel and powder-coated black, which is superior to what GM did originally.

The kit includes the main center rail, the center top portion, the left and right front top windshield plates, front and rear weatherstrip retainer parts. A total of 8 parts in all, exact reproductions of these parts.

It’s best to purchase the entire kit, if you have major rust issues, especially due to the age of these cars.

Our first photo shows the various pieces in this kit. Our second photo is an illustration of an exploded view of the typical T-Tops on a Regal. We offer this book, Part #7196 - 1987 GM - 1987 General Motors BODY SERVICE MANUAL for Passenger Cars."

These are made in steel, and then powder coated black, and made in the U.S.A.

NOTE - We highly recommend this kit be installed by a professional body shop.

Another great exterior restoration kit.

Our top photo shows the two covers.

Our lower photos show an original grey seat belt area without the cover on the left and with the unpainted blue cover on the right.

1984-1987 Buick Regal (All Models) -
Reproduction WINDSHIELD PLASTIC TRIM - 3 Piece Kit

Here is a part almost every Regal is missing due to age and heat.

Originally GM had a thin plastic trim molding, which was between the metal molding and the front windshield. It went on both vertical side pieces and across the top. Without it there is a gap between the metal molding and the windshield.

This is a reproduction of that plastic trim molding. You have to remove the original trim pieces in order to slide this into each molding.

If you need to redo both the front and the back glass trim, you will need to purchase two kits. The material can easily be cut to size.

NOTE - When you install the trim pieces, some of the original plastic clips may break due to age. We recommend you also purchase our Part #7199, 1975-1987 Buick Regal (All Models) - Exterior Reveal Molding Clips (30) Set, in case you break any original clips.

Another great exterior restoration item.

Our first photo shows the 2 windshield washer squirters. Our lower photo shows the originals on the driver’s and passenger’s side of a car.

NOTE - You may also want to purchase our Part #7468, 1984-1987 Buick Regal (All Models) - Rebuilt Wiper Motor.

NOTE ABOUT PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE - We have heard from a couple people that have viewed the photos on the website. Because these have to be low-resolution photos to work on the Inner Circle segments on the website, any photos of text don't appear clear when enlarged. This is a problem when you are trying to see numbers, such as those on the VIN labels or pages from Options booklet. Also, because of photo reproduction and computer screen variations, the colors may not be true to the actual product or photo.

If you would like to have us email you any photo at the higher resolution for viewing, just email us and we will email them to you. Be sure to be specific on which pictures you want to see - Reference Inner Circle date and photo number 1, 2, 3 or 4 - [email protected].

ABOUT OUR EMAILS -

Any inquiries concerning used parts, you must email me direct - [email protected] - I will answer you. However, if I fail to answer you within 24 hours, please email us again. Since expanding into used parts, I get a lot of emails and sometimes I may forget your request or may not remember who requested the item.
