TWO REMARKABLE 1987 GRAND NATIONALS FOR SALE -
First up is a 1987 Grand National hardtop in the same family since it was new.
In both cases the sellers have been a long time customer of ours. One customer also has GTOs and has been a customer of ours for over 30 years. Neither Grand National has been advertised until now.
First, is a 1987 Grand National hardtop in the same family since brand new. The seller has had it since 2003. Prior to that his brother owned it since it was new. This car and owner has been to the one Open Houses that Molly attended so the SPID label has been signed by Molly. Car is all original, even the paint. Car has been Garaged. Sits the last 18 years in a heated warehouse. This seller over the years has purchased from me a Turbo Limited, a GNX, one of my barn finds a 2 door S-10 style Blazer. I even delivered that S-10 Blazer to him many years ago. Miles is 42,000 on the 1987 Grand National. Car has a Clean carfax. He did upgrade the speedometer face to 140.
Car has power windows, locks, posi, tilt wheel, body side molding, cruise control, tinted glass, am/fm radio cassette, and rear defogger. Sticker price in 1987 was $17,174. Since the seller is a collector this Grand National has averaged less than 200 miles a year for the last 19 years he has owned it.
This Grand National has had several nice improvements, Pypes dual exhaust system, AC Delco am/fm CD player, rear seat braces installed and missing body bushings. The original buyer was his brother who was 38 at the time and a mechanic. Car has had excellent care never hot rodded or abused. Minor imperfections in the original paint and fading due to age. All the original documents are included. Interior is extremely clean. You would be hard pressed to find a better stock example for this price. $49,500. Car is located in Massachusetts. See Photo 1 for 4 photos. Email me [email protected] for other photos and any questions. Remember he had a Turbo Limited and a GNX. Also this is one of probably around 200 that the SPID label has Mollys signature on it. Molly did the original Grand National project and emblems for Buick. Currently this 1987 Grand National has a deposit on it. Scheduled to go to the midwest to its new home!
PHOTO 1 - We show five photos of this extremely nice example of a 1987 Grand National hardtop. The seller has a lift in his building, something we all wish we had!
1987 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL FACTORY MOONROOF CAR -
This car resides near St Louis Missouri. Mileage is 82,000. Reason he is selling is he prefers the older muscle cars, mainly GTOS and has several one reason he has been a customer of ours for a long time. He is an engineer by trade so very detailed. About 4 years ago he had the car stripped down to bare metal. He gutted the car's interior and even removed the factory astroroof. All new GM seals were installed. The price tag alone at the body shop was 16 grand! Today, not a single ding or scratch is in this car. As you can imagine the paint job is far superior to anything Buick did. He was just always bothered about the poor paint job and it was thin in parts. He also has the window sticker. It listed for just under 20 grand. It has every single option except engine block heater and twil lite sentinel. Car even has the factory trunk kit. Car has my front and rear braces installed. Alot of very tasteful upgrades have been done yet retaining a very streetable performing car. Plenum spacer, stainless dual exhaust, TA49 turbo, special chip from turbo tweaked.
Duttweiler neck on the intercooler, adjustable wastegate, adjustable fuel regulator, knock sensor alarm, console gauge holder. Exhaust temp and boost gauge. RJC plenum spacer, tinman air system. He retained all the original parts which would go with the car. HR body mounts. Engine internals never touched. Has 60lb injectors. Even has the factory hand crank for the astroof in the brown envelope. It also has Razors alky kit. Larger downpipe. So if you were to add up all these upgrades and the 16 grand for the repaint and the fact the car listed for almost 20 grand when new this is a very rare and well equipped example of a top of the line example. You would be hard pressed to find one in this price range that has all these features adult owned, never abused. The price is $52,900. For more info and photos simply email me [email protected]
PHOTO 2 - We show four pictures of this extremely well optioned 1987 Grand National with the factory astroroof. Including one photo when the entire car was stripped down to bare metal prior to its 16 grand paint job with all new GM weatherstripping installed.

A WORD ABOUT THE ABOVE TWO 1987 GRAND NATIONALS -
There may be a small amount of wiggle room in either car. As both sellers realize transports cost money. Both sellers want to see their car go to another collector that will maintain it like they did. Remember these are just now being advertised. You do have a few options. JJ Best without any doubt depending on your credit would finance a good bit of your investment. Also if you are close to my location I would entertain a partial trade.
Trade can be any type of car if it's nice although I prefer a 1986-1987 Turbo Regal obviously. I work under a dealer name and I would pay the difference to the seller for your trade. Both of these cars have a good history. A Classic Car Dealer would definitely be asking far more for either of these cars. However, you're always better off dealing with the original seller. That way no guessing on providing you with the answers you seek. Years ago when they were 10 to 15 grand it would not matter as much but today you want to deal with the actual seller. Remember Spring will soon be here. Both cars are perfect to enjoy. Neither car has any issues. Values are bound to keep climbing.
1965 MUSTANG V8 COUPE FOR SALE -
This car is owned by a long time customer who had the 3 Turbo Regals and Syclone I recently sold. This Mustang coupe has had a frame off restoration. Garage kept. In the last two years it has gotten a new brake system, Gas tank, brake lines, 3-row radiator, rebuilt carb, and new battery. Car has only 72,000 actual miles. The price tag is $25,000. Contact me [email protected] for info. Car is located near Nashville, Tennessee.
WE CAN SELL YOUR CAR -
When the time comes you need to down size or you want to strike while the value is high we have a good success rate at finding buyers. We handle the advertising and answering the questions and weeding out the tire kickers. We never give out the exact location of your car. You decide on the price after any bargaining is done. The money goes directly from the buyer to your bank account. I have a flat commission based on the price span. This format has worked out very well for me for both the buyer and the seller. The buyer has more confidence about the car. The seller is not bothered with phone calls. Most potential buyers know who I am. So whenever the time comes you want to sell your car, email me the particulars. I can explain the process to you which also allows you to sell the car as well. My email is [email protected] I can also help you determine the price. I can also take in a trade and pay you the seller the difference. I have worked with JJ Best in the past which is quite generous in granting loans. So you have plenty of options.
TWO UNUSUAL CARS FOR SALE NEAR OUR LOCATION -
If either car perks your interest email me [email protected] as I have more details and photos. Both are at the same place mabe 20 minutes from me. One car is a red Suzuki Vitara 2002 vintage nice shape red 169,000 miles very solid. Cute little car seldom seen anymore priced at $4,000. Runs and drives. The other car has great potential. It is a 1967 Cougar woman owned. Super straight body red exterior needs interior work. Car has been sitting for a number of years. It does need some floor pan work on one side. Car does run. What makes it rare is its a manual 3 speed car! Seller is seeking $3500.
FOR SALE 300 MILE ORIGINAL 1987 GRAND NATIONAL HARDTOP -
This example has been properly preserved all these years. Runs and drives. Been stored on a 4 post lift as part of a huge car collection in Illinois. This car shared space with Lamboghins and Ferraris so it was in good company! My seller will consider partial trades of one or more vehicles of interest towards the price tag. The window sticker has never been removed from the car. Originally sold in Texas. The price tag $199,900 takes it home. The tires have been upgraded to the correct new reproduction tires. CLASSIFIED ADS -
We accept Classified Ads in our weekly Inner Circle emails. Over the years several customers have asked about placing an ad in our weekly Inner Circle.
Here are the options and the costs.
Ads can be from any individual or company. It needs to be automotive related, meaning it does not need to be specifically Turbo Regal related. It can be for something for sale or something wanted.
Maximum number of words is 125 words, which is about 7 to 9 lines of copy. No photos. You can list a website. We recommend you state your name, phone number or email, a price, and your location in your ad.
The cost for an ad for 2 consecutive weeks is $25. The cost for 4 consecutive weeks is $40. You save $10 with the 4-week plan. No changes can be made to your existing running ad. You can only run one ad at any given time. We will have a code system at the end of your ad, so we will know what week number your ad is to run 2 or 4 weeks.
It can be an ad for something for sale or an ad for something you are looking for.
We have never missed a single week since we started the Inner Circle email format in 2009. It’s something I enjoy doing and I just always seem to have enough material to write about.
Our weekly Inner Circle now reaches over 3,500 members every Wednesday direct to their inbox. The Inner Circle also appears every Wednesday on our website with the related photos. Your ad would be visible to both groups of readers. So, the exposure to your ad is well over 3,500 potential buyers.

“BAD TO THE BONE” EMBROIDERED BEANIE BLACK KNIT HAT -
This black Beanie knit hat has the quote "Bad To The Bone" embroidered on it in the same design as our decal, part #7968.
Each black hat is embroidered in red, gray and black. The embroidery work is some of the best I have ever seen. It almost looks like it was printed on the material.
A prime example of poor embroidery work can be found on the Power Six logo on the Grand National bucket seat headrest. The embroidery on this hat is much sharper.
An excellent winter hat. Also makes a great gift.
7967 - “BAD TO THE BONE” Embroidered Beanie Black Knit Hat - $21.95

“BAD TO THE BONE” DECAL
This “BAD TO THE BONE”decal is similar to the one we sold years ago.
The script wording is red and black with a black shadow. The line between the words in the gray area is black. The design is die cut with a self-adhesive backing. Each decal measures about 5-1/2" x 1-3/4”.
It is designed to fit in the area on the back window, just under the third brake light on the outside of the glass. It can also be used in other areas, on a tool box, or a car show display board.

NOTE - ABOUT LINKS IN THE INNER CIRCLE -
We have heard from a couple people that have had problems with the links in our Inner Circle.
When we check the links, they work fine. However, if you are not able to be directed to the exact website page or internet site, you can "copy" and "paste" the link into the URL in your browser (such as Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, etc.) If it doesn't link in one browser, it may work in another.
Most people having problems are using Internet Explorer. If you are having issues with links, try another browser to see if it works.
You may need to "UPDATE" your browser to be used if you are using the current version.
NOTE ABOUT PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE -
We have heard from a couple people that have viewed the photos on the website. Because these must be low-resolution photos to work on the Inner Circle segments on the website, any photos of text don't appear clear when enlarged. This is a problem when you are trying to see numbers, such as those on the VIN labels or pages from Options booklet. Also, because of photo reproduction and computer screen variations, the colors may not be true to the actual product or photo.
If you would like to have us email you any photo at the higher resolution for viewing, just email us and we will email them to you. Be sure to be specific on which pictures you want to see - Reference Inner Circle date and photo number 1, 2, 3 or 4 - [email protected]
ABOUT OUR EMAILS -
Any inquiries concerning used parts, you must email me directly - [email protected] - and I will answer you. However, if I fail to answer you within 24 hours, please email us again.
Since expanding into used parts, I get a lot of emails and sometimes I may forget your request or may not remember who requested the item.
IN CLOSING -
Remember, the weekly Inner Circle always goes out at 3 pm eastern time so subscribers all have the same equal chance on the Rare Parts. All our parts generally are priced to sell and priced below what others offer. Also our used items are exactly as described. Emails are acknowledged in the order we receive them regardless of when I respond as I am not always by a computer and I only use a flip phone. It's best to email as soon as possible with your request(s) as many of our items sell within the first hour! Do NOT call the office on the listed Rare Parts as you could lose out by someone beating you with an email. Remember if the total of what you purchase on the Rare Parts falls short of $75 we will charge $15 extra for shipping.

Ads submitted by the previous Sunday would appear the following Wednesday in the weekly Inner Circle. Ads and payment (paypal) must be submitted by email to - [email protected]
NOTE - IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO SEE THE BUICK RARE PARTS SECTION -
If you are not able to see the Buick Rare Parts section at the end of this Inner Circle, it is because you are not an actual Inner Circle member, but instead are reading this on the website. You must subscribe to see the Rare Parts section each week. It would go directly to your inbox every Wednesday at 3 pm eastern time. It is FREE, probably one reason why nobody complains about what I write about. To subscribe simply email – [email protected] - to get our free weekly Wednesday Inner Circle email. This allows everyone to have the same opportunity on the parts we list each week.

“BAD TO THE BONE” DECAL
This “BAD TO THE BONE”decal is similar to the one we sold years ago.
