Greetings Turbo Regal Inner Circle Members 02-08-2023 - JUST IN CASPERS NEWLY DESIGNED KNOCK GAUGES - We have the standard one also one with the Kirban Performance logo on the dial. The plain one is #8053 and the one with Kirban Performance on the dial is #8054. The price is $191.95 for #8053 and $199.95 for #8054 with Kirban Performance on the dial. Both knock gauges come with directions and are currently in stock. They are designed to fit the standard 2 1/16 inch gauge opening or gauge pod. The three-color LED display gives you “real time” visual indication of the severity of detonation. It is a simple 3-wire hook up. It does require the use of the factory ESC module to operate. It may not be up on our website as of yet. You would have to call the office to order. A STRING OF COINCIDENCES CAME TOGETHER THE OTHER WEEK FOR ME - The other week a long time good friend of mine Greg Davidian who used to live in NJ and was up here in New Jersey to settle his dads estate who passed away in December. While up here (he now resides in NC) he glanced through the local Facebook marketplace and spotted a person selling an original 1967 GTO wooden shifter knob. He called the seller as he wanted to get it as a gift for me as he knows I have an extensive shifter knob collection and thought I may not have this particular one. Fortunately he was the first caller so he set up a time to go get it from the seller. The seller told him he recently sold his 1967 GTO for a cool 50 grand. He asked the seller if he ever heard of Dennis Kirban? He said he had not. He goes to the guy's house and while there he asks the seller if he has anything else GTO related. The owner replied yes he does something extremely rare and valuable. Right away my buddies' interest perks up. The seller shows him a 1967 GTO go kart! These are extremely rare as they say fewer than 200 were ever made for Pontiac dealers and to date through a website fewer than 35 have been located. In my lifetime of dealing in GTOs I have only seen maybe 2 that I can recall. He immediately calls me and tells him yes I am a buyer, set something up and we can meet up Friday after the guy gets home from work. I figure I better take cash since the seller has no idea who I am. It is about a 2 hour drive for me to get to his house. The guy's garage is not heated so I am freezing looking at the go-kart body. Meantime Greg is spotting a few other GTO goodies on the shelves and puts them on the floor for me to buy. I spot a large GTO banner and I tell the seller the green 1970 Judge was my car prior to the person's name who now appears under the car. Photo was taken on Sugar Bottom Road. After a few more words it clicks with him as to who I am as he realized I also wrote for the Legend the monthly GTO newsletter. I spot on one wall hanging up an assortment of like 30 different hammers. I ask him why all the hammers? He says he has a kid that has several Jeeps and being in New Jersey rust is a major issue and he uses the hammers to knock the rust off the frames! Course if they resided in NY the frames would probably crumble from rust! He then says do you notice anything else unusual? I said not that it caught my eye but I did notice a huge Lottery poster on the wall. Turns out this seller hit a million dollar NJ lottery on a $2 scratch off ticket! I said wow so why am I paying you two grand for all parts? Story gets more interesting. He says he won during the covid shut down and it took 3 weeks to reach lottery headquarters to fill out the paperwork to obtain his prize money. Then they had a new NJ tax that claimed 92 grand off the top of the million dollar prize. The other taxes brought it down to $604,000 he got to keep. They said they would mail the check…he told them he would come and pick it up personally! In all my years of buying lottery tickets as gifts etc and asking people I never ever met anyone that won over $50. He said he missed the 6 million dollar jackpot by one digit on another $2 scratch off lottery ticket! It was an interesting trip. The GTO go kart body is in very good shape. My son will be making a mold off the front end and getting the original decals made. The body due to age and how primitive it is would cost a fortune to prepped the body and make a new mold from it. The body was a tad over 6 feet long and it was a real struggle to get it to fit inside my Toyota Highlander! I never thought I would ever find a 1967 GTO go-kart to buy. A 1967 GTO go-kart and a million dollar state lottery winner! Both by the same owner! PHOTO 1 - The top left photo shows the array of various hammers he has hanging on his garage wall. The top right photo shows a blow up of the poster showing the million dollar powerball winner. The bottom left shows the 1967 Go-Kart on the floor of his garage. The bottom right photo shows it in my son's body shop with Spider Man inside it. I got him Spider man for Christmas. It was , I believe, an original Blockbuster video store display. 2004 GTO RARE BARBADOS BLUE WITH 41,000 ORIGINAL MILES - This is local to me dealer owned and a good friend of mine. I am told fewer than 200 in 2004 were produced in this exterior color. Car is super clean with mostly original exceptions being the exhaust, the radio and aftermarket wheels. The exhaust is a Borla stainless system. Super nice body with no evidence of paint work or dents. The interior is black leather and is also quite nice. The dealer is seeking $18,900 but I can get a better deal for one of my customers. As a dealer he is also open to partial trades. I am sure at some time in the future the limited 3 year run of these later GTO models will rise in values. I have never seen a performance car not increase in value no matter what car line it is. Stock wheels are included but need to be redone. PHOTO 2 - We show four views of this 2004 GTO for sale for $18,900 asking price. TWO MORE CARS FOR SALE - I actually own both of these cars on the dealer lot I buy for. The little 2008 Pontiac G5 coupe I've been driving for the last 2 months. Hard to find clean original G5 Pontiac coupes in a great color combo and being a 5-speed manual makes it a fun car to drive. A car that runs on regulator gas probably gets 30 mpg. Car is close to mint inside and out.. A manual 5 speed with a mint black cloth interior is perfect. Car has factory XM radio, pw, and pl. Two keys with remote. Latest PA inspection. I did all the brakes, front rotors and rear drums. Tires are like new. Paint appears to be 100% original with no fading or clear coat issues. Actual miles 139,000. Drives 100%. No leaks! Asking price is $5795. Judging from how nice the paint is, the car must have been garaged. The next car I just got last week at the bid lot. A two owner 2012 Caddy SRX AWD. Silver with black leather. Car is PA inspected. The paint appears 100% original. One very small dent on the top center of the tailgate. The 2012 is the redesigned year with 6 speed automatic transmission and larger 6 cylinder motor pumping out 305 hp. The interior is close to new even the driver's seat is almost like new with no rips. Even comes with 2 of the cool remote keys. Car is a push button start. I see no evidence of a dog or kids ever being in the car. Carpets are amazing. Based on how nice the paint is, the Caddy must have been garaged. A clean carfax. No evidence of any rust or paint work ever. I was tempted to keep it but I like smaller SUVs. Caddy has 145,000 miles on it. Best color combo silver with black leather interior. Asking price is $9900. PHOTO 3 - The top left and top right show two views of the Pontiac G5 coupe. The bottom left and bottom right we show two pictures of the 2012 Caddy SRX. You would have to look at several of these to find 2 examples as nice as these two are “Kirban Quality”. 2018 THOR VEGAS MOTORHOME FOR SALE - John the seller bought new as a leftover in 2019 it has only gone 16,000 miles. The RV is just 25 feet long. List price when new was $118,900. Owner paid in 2019 as a left over $90,000. Motor home is pristine. Very cute rides on a Ford F-450 chassis powered by the Ford Triton V10 engine. Frankly I have never seen one of these models before. The RV has had exceptional care by the original owner. Recently replaced at a cost of 3 grand all the tires due to dry rot. Asking price only $68,000 grand. Priced to sell. This RV is very well built. Has an extra large shower and Class 5 Hitch. Swing outside panel. Never smoked in. Local to me. Email me for more details and photos [email protected] LOCAL TO ME A 2006 IMPALA SS FOR SALE - This is a really nice car. Car is white with tan leather interior all stock. Not smoked in a super straight body and mint interior which shows virtually no wear. Miles is 136,800. The transmission was rebuilt last year. Car runs out very strong. Body virtually has no dents, wheels are very nice as well. Seller is motivated to sell it. Asking price is $5795. I have more photos simply email me [email protected] Type car at that price you could drive and enjoy and if you keep it nice will still be worth a few buckskin years to come. RARE PARTS FOR THIS WEEK - See Photo 4 below. The top left photos are this very rare factory Buick Parts Identification and Inspection Guide. The top right photo shows a NOS reproduction baffle set, 2 different metal custom key chinese, used plastic T horn center, and a pair of GM factory trunk lid bumpers. All this for just $G65 includes shipping to the basic 48 states. The bottom left photo shows a reproduction battery hold down, a glossy black powder coated safety latch, a satin black powder coated steering wheel reservoir holder, a reproduction gray horn and a brand new reproduction 1978-1987 trunk seal made by Soft Seal. The bottom right photo shows a NewCaspers engine ground kit, new battery hold down bracket, a good used rite black side marker lens. All these parts can be found for sale in the Rare Parts section. . TWO MORE VEHICLES OF POSSIBLE INTEREST - I saw these this past Sunday in two of the buildings on this person's property. At 82 years old he was initially pretty secretive and I had to step up the charm and name some connections hoping he would know some of the same people I know. Fortunately, he did and he was then more open and cooperative. Stashed in this one huge building with no heat was a 1967 Caddy convertible covered up. A Florida car originally, the original owner had passed away and someone near him bought it but had no place to store it so this person bought it. The odometer reads 30,000 miles. It is a convertible. Could be original mileage as I have no idea. Car is a very straight unusual color like a burgundy color with 2 tone interior. A factory air car also seems well optioned. There were no lights in this building to get a good visual look. He got the car to crank but needs to sit on a charger to get enough power to the battery. I went back the next day and he had it running and out of the building. Struck me as an unusual Cadillac that has bucket seats with a mini console that appears to be original. Also the car had a two tone brown interior. All power options including factory AC again I thought were unusual in a convertible. Rodent issues under the hood pad. Car reportedly won over 12 trophies back in the day in Florida. The seller is seeking $19,500. The original owner must have pulled a trailer as it has a hitch attached to the frame underneath. The seller also has a 2010 Harley Davidson Heritage edition bike with 20,000 actual miles. Fully loaded with side bags etc and so on. He wants 10 grand for the Harley Heritage bike. I did not hear it run but he did turn the ignition on so the odometer showed the actual miles. I assume it does run. Not sure at 82 years young he still rides much. He has been married to the same woman for 62 years, that in itself is a remarkable feat. His wife owns a Lexus so naturally I told her I knew the person that did the Lexus logo on her car! I got photos of both the Caddy and the Harley. Simply email me for pics [email protected] At 82 years old he is quite stubborn about the prices. They recently lost their son to covid. I plan to buy a few things in his one building that piqued my interest. A walk through their house with the low 10 foot ceilings and it was like it was the early 1900s with the dining room table set up for 6 people ready to eat! It was hard to spot anything in any part of the house that was made in the current 21st century! 1955 MG NEEDS FULL RESTORATION - I just got loads of pictures of this older MG British car. Email me for more info [email protected] I do not know the exact model. The drive train is still in the car however, the rest of the car has been disassembled and has been stored inside the owners house. At a price of just $4800 this seems like a bargain for this 1955 MG British sports car. Original fenders and floor are all solid. These parts as well as the dash etc are all stored in the house. Only the drivetrain is still in the car. I AM STILL SEEKING SOMEONE THAT HAS MY PRINTED MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS - I already have full years (12) issues for 1992-93-94. I also am supposed to meet a customer next week and he has 1991 thru 2002. As long as this works out I just need ones prior to 1991. This would be 1989 thru 1991. So I am getting close! WE HAVE MORE BRAKE BOWLS AND JEEP STYLE STEERING SHAFTS IN STOCK - It is best to contact the office to be certain you get one. These are located at our Pennsylvania location and would ship from our Pennsylvania location. The part number is #7574 for the desirable Jeep steering shafts. With metal joints at both ends it provides a tighter feel over the factory lower steering shaft that Buick used. OUR 1996 FORD RANGER XLT FOR SALE IS ALSO STILL AVAILABLE - This is one of our personal vehicles that we have owned for 9 years. This a very long time for me to keep a vehicle! Most of my vehicles seldom have one or two birthdays! The Ranger has always been garaged during the 9 years I have owned it. Based on how nice the original paint is, the truck was probably garaged most of its life. Isee no evidence of any paint work. The truck does not leak anything. New tires, new brake lines, new brakes, new battery and all maintenance done in a timely manner. Wheels are updated to the later Ford Ranger 15 inch wheels. Interior has all been redone and is like new. Now has bucket seats and a console in the middle. The body is super straight with no dents of any major size and with zero rust. Truck is a 5-speed manual shift with hand crank windows. It is the XLT model. Also got a new headliner. Actual miles is 196,000. My email is [email protected] for more info and photos. Asking $3995. This truck is in remarkable condition with original paint. GOT TURBO REGAL PARTS TO SELL? - We are always in the market for buying collections if you have sold your car. You decide on the price after any bargaining is done. The money goes directly from the buyer to your bank account. I have a flat commission based on the price span. The seller is not bothered with phone calls or emails. Most potential buyers know who I am. So whenever the time comes you want to sell your car, email me the particulars. I can explain the process to you which also allows you to sell the car as well. My email is [email protected] I can also help you determine the price. I can also take in a trade and pay you the seller the difference. I have worked with JJ Best in the past which is quite generous in granting loans. So you have plenty of options.
