1986-1987 Turbo Regal Dealer Service Bulletins, Product Campaigns & Production Information Booklet

This latest booklet we now have in this series runs 110 pages. It covers the Dealer Service Bulletins that involve the engine code 7 cars meaning the Turbo Regals. As you can imagine a number of them in great detail refer to the early issues the powermaster brake system had. They appear in monthly order in this handy booklet.  We even show what the small Buick recall label looks like that Buick would have attached to the core support near the belt routing decal. This decal is one we reproduced and carry on our website.

The next section in this latest booklet is Product Information. Notably under this section is the important annoncement of the new release of the WE4 model dated 11-15-86.  Introduced and promoted as similar in appearance to the Grand National (all black with matching bumpers) and the reduction in weight which theoretically makes this new Turbo-T model faster than a Grand National all for a lower price!

Another Production  information page announces certain exterior colors where deleted.  This list includes 43 the light sage, 54 cream beige, and 62 brown. It is dated 3-6 87.  Another section includes two letters from Buick giving the break down for each year 1983 through 1987 of T-Types and Grand Nationals. Another page gives the total for the years 1984 thru 1987  how many Turbo Regals went to Canada. Of note is no GNXs went to Canada according to this Buick letter!

Another section lists all the paint codes for 1987 G body cars and the various brands they offered. This information would be very difficult to find today and would not be assembled in one booklet like we did with this booklet. The next section covers driveability and emissions for the engine code 7 cars. The last section covers the turbo on the code 7 engines.
